The Dragonbane game math is very much based around static score + boons & banes. A net roll of 19-20 should always fail. With this in mind, some suggested magic items that give a Boon to Attribute & Skill checks.
"Belt of Strength" gives a Boon to STR checks.
"Gloves of Dexterity" give a Boon to Agility Checks.
"Girdle of Toughness" gives a Boon to CON checks, and +2 HP.
"Headband of Intellect" gives a Boon to INT checks.
"Periapt of the Will" gives a Boon to WIL checks, and +2 WP.
"Cloak of Charisma" gives a Boon to Charisma checks.

Magical Armour
Helms
A magic Helm never grants more than +1 bonus AV. But there are rare magic helm with +1 AV and additional powers, usually WIL or CHA based.
Armour
Artifact-level magic armour can be up to +3 AV, but most enchanted armour is +1 AV.
Bracers of Defence
These give from +2 AV to +4 AV to an otherwise unarmoured character, with no penalties. Normally such bracers are made of iron/metal, so no spell casting, but there are legends of powerful versions made of dragonbone or other non-metallic materials.
